Romeo and Juliet
"Romeo, Romeo, where for art thou Romeo" Every one knows this line. Its from the classic play by Shakespeare's, Romeo and Juliet. A story about a family feud and a pair of star-crossed lovers. * Spoiler Alert* At the end they both die. This year we finally read the play. I feel like I really learned something this year just by reading this play. I recently went to the new Romeo and Juliet movie by Julian Fellows. We just finished reading Romeo and Juliet in English so I really wanted to see the movie. The movie was really accurate but them left out some parts. I was really sad when they left out "a sail, a sail." Balthasar was not in it either. Also Juliet woke up right after Romeo drank the poison and she saw him die. I really like the story of Romeo and Juliet, but I hate that they both die a the end. Even though some scenes and people were different I still really enjoyed the movie and the play.

Ballet Blues
I did ballet for 8 years. I really liked it and thought it was really fun, all the leaps and graceful moves. I really wanted to work up to the point were I got to wear point shoes. When I was little I wanted to be a ballerina when I grew up, but things changed. Some days were fun, but others weren't. I didn't want to go to class anymore because I didn't really know anyone that well, and I thought I wasn't as good as everyone else. Everyone else did a second ballet class called Junior Company and I couldn't be in it, so sometimes I felt left out. By the end I didn't like it anymore so I quit. Some days I wish I hadn't. I have seen people do ballet now and it reminds me of how much fun it was. Have you ever regretted quitting something?

Downton Abbey
Downton Abbey is a tv show about a very wealthy family, living their lives everyday in there mansion, Downton Abbey. The show is set in the 1900s.They have maids, housekeepers, and many people who work for them. All the people who work there eat, sleep, and breath Downton Abbey. Lord Grantham and Lady Grantham have three daughters- Mary, Edith, and Sybil. Mary is trying to find a husband so they can have an heir. I love all the fashion and the new advancements that they have, like when they get a new phone. There are many dramatic moments and it is very exciting show. It's really fun to watch and it can also inform people about what happened in the 1900s.
My friend got me really into the show and now I'm hooked. I haven't seen season three yet so don't spoil anything. I am really excited to finish season three and then start season four in January. My favorite character is Sybil and I hope to see more of her in the coming episodes. Have any of you watched Downton Abbey? Who is your favorite character?
